We will be doing the field trip in the park this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  If you are bringing a tractor for display it will need to be at the park before 9AM on Tuesday.

All Field Trip helpers will need to be at their stations and ready for the students by 9AM each morning.  Lunch will be served each day at the end of the day.

On Thursday after the field trip we will need to move all tractors to the tractor pull area, to get ready to the pull on Saturday.

After the parade meet back at the tractor pull area to prepare for the pull.
Tractor Pull starts at 11 AM.

Everyone pulling will have to pre-register with June by Thursday night so I can print programs on Friday. Reply to this e-mail with your tractor list and weights or Call or text me at: 435-632-1470. I will also be in the park for the next 3 days you can bring me a list.

A Great Day With CCAMA

Part of the Work Party / Test and Tune Saturday April 13

CCAMA members with tools, red dust on the backs and arms of their shirt, the smell of axle grease and the loud roar of the air compressor made the Work Party scene yesterday. I saw Leroy in his tool box looking and sorting for tools, Kevin Peiksma put on the training wheels of the sled with the help of John Kirkland Jr. and Paul Moen filled up the tanks of the sled with water. I posted the photos and video I took on Facebook.CCAMA Facebook Page

Watch Video below of Kevin Peiksma and John Kirkland Jr. putting on the training wheels of the tractor sled.

Everyone had a different task and duty. I had the pleasure of talking with Sheridan and Kip Hansen about Internet, the world, and emails, and children. We laughed and laughed. I must have slapped my knee 10 times. It was the first time I heard Kip laugh. Both father and son have delightful laughs.

CCAMA provided lunch for us all.

Lunch time during the work party / test and tune event.

After lunch I interview Rosie Kirkland for our series Women on Tractors. I enjoyed speaking with her and got to learn a bit more about her.

Thank you for visiting CCAMA,

It was cold dark and windy in Cedar City. On the Way to Cotton Days I saw the dark clouds end and the blue sky begin. You couldn't ask for better weather for our tractor pull. Washington, Utah had beautiful weather.

The beginning of the parade is announced and the moment arrives when you can hear the rumbling of the tractors and see the American flags unfolding and waving in the winds. The long line of CCAMA members came one by one down the hill with their children and grandchildren and dogs riding right up there with them. They smiled and waved as they drove by. It was an inspirational sight to see and a heartfelt patriotic feeling.
