CCAMA RULES

CCAMA Club Members,
An audit of our recently ratified rules by EDGETA found that certain club rules were incompatible with EDGETA rules that were revised in September 2009. Because of this, it was necessary for the Club Rules Committee and Executive Committee to meet and resolve these differences, to ensure that our liability insurance coverage is not compromised.
These revised rules all show a date of 3/26/2009. Please disregard any earlier versions of our club rules from this time forward. A complete set of CCAMA rules is comprised of three documents; General Rules, Farm Stock Plus Rules, & Farm Stock Rules. At this time we also elected to add two new weight classes in both pulling divisions of; 4501-5000lbs. and 5501-6000lbs. These new classes do not replace the existing 5500lb. or 6500lb. classes. Several years ago we added the 3000lb. and 4000lb. classes because of the ever increasing numbers of tractors pulling in these weights and feel it’s time to add these two new weights for the same reason. Listed below are some of the key rule changes.
Farm Stock Division
This division is now allowed to pull in either 1st or 2nd gear instead of 1st gear only, but is still limited to 3.0 mph maximum speed. You are now allowed 10% over on RPMs, where previously this division was restricted to stock RPMs. No weight classes over 10,000 lbs. will be contested in this division. We have added the two new weight classes.
This is still the division to pull your stock specification original or restored farm tractor that was built prior to 1960.
Farm Stock Plus Division
This division replaces the “Modified Stock” division and with the exception of a new 3.5 mph speed limit, it is essentially the same rules that were used in the old division. EDGETA does not encourage modified tractors participating at our events, and so we have elected to enact this name change to more accurately reflect what the intent of this division really is. But we still want to have a dedicated division for those tractors built through 1965 that have the type of reasonable modifications that tractors from this era often received during their working careers. We have also added the new 5000lb. and 6000lb. classes to this division. Classes over 10,000 lbs. will be regulated by the “Stone Boat” provisions in the current EDGETA rules.
