I so enyoyed interviewing, Rosemary. It was during the Iron County Fair while the tractor pulls were going on. We went out behind the grandstands and found a table to sit at.

That look of Rosemarie's. She is so positive and focused. Photo by Bill DeSilva

I asked her how she got started driving tractors. Here is what she told me.

I was first inspired by my husband, David and my two son-in-laws. David's family used a little Farmall A on their farm in Salem, Utah when he was a kid.
When David and I were married in 2006 we bought a vintage 1952 Super MTA Farmall that someone restored mechanically.
Red Salisbury, co-founder of CCAMA, and his grandaughter, stepped in to teach me how to drive the tractor and encouraged me to,  "keep on going."
Between 2001 and 2006, I would never have imagined my marriage to David, driving the tractor, and the life I have now.
